Burrell Bike Fest: Let’s Ride Together!

Saturday, September 12 | 9:00 AM | Meet at Wooten Drive and Burrell

Burrell’s new bike lanes have officially arrived! We’re throwing a neighborhood celebration to show them off! Join us for the Burrell Bike Ride Inaugural, a free, family-friendly community bike ride and gathering designed for riders of every age and skill level, from lifelong cyclists to kids just getting the hang of two wheels.

What Is the Burrell Bike Ride Inaugural?

This is our community’s first official ride celebrating the newly completed bike lanes. We’ll take a relaxed, family-paced 1.4-mile group ride along the new routes, with safety demos, bike tips, and local resources along the way. Then we’ll gather for local vendors, kids’ activities, music, and neighborhood connection. It’s part ride, part block party β€” and it’s all about making Burrell a safer, more connected place to bike, walk, and play.

Presented by the Ghisallo Cycling Initiative, in partnership with City of Austin and Wooten Neighborhood Association.
