Upcoming Officer Elections

Thinking about taking a leadership role in the Wooten Neighborhood Association? We’re currently seeking nominations for both President and Vice President—two essential positions that are open for the upcoming term!

Role Responsibilities

The President is the principal officer of the Association. This role involves presiding at all meetings, appointing committee chairpersons (with officer approval), and serving as an ex-officio member of all committees.

The President brings important information to the attention of residents, acts as the Association’s spokesperson both in writing and in person, and has signatory rights for financial transactions.

The Vice President supports the President and steps in whenever the President is absent or unable to serve. If the President’s position becomes vacant, the Vice President assumes the role for the remainder of the term. The Vice President is also an ex-officio member of all committees, may serve in capacities assigned by the President, and oversees the Association’s communication channels.

Time Commitment

Time commitment for these roles is flexible and depends on what’s happening in the association. The time spend can be as little as an hour a week, and up to five hours a week during busier periods.

Nominations

If you or someone you know is interested in helping shape the future of our neighborhood, now is the perfect time to get involved! Nominations will be accepted at the September meeting. Don’t miss your chance to make a difference!
