It’s my park day was on Nov. 1. Volunteers Put down a bunch of mulch on trees. Lots of people showed up, over 30. Pulled up all the rocks on the corner bed and laid down cardboard to reduce weeds in the future.

Contact Team

We discussed Toyota dealer conditional use permit, came up with the list of asks, and waiting to deliver it until after we get info on roof lines.

Also, have elections next month for attendance taker and vice chair.

Communications

Published a letter it’s on the website. New website is designed, more user friendly, did last review and waiting and a few questions before publishing. Signs you up for newsletter, Will have a google calendar.

Neighborhood Updates

1600 views for Halloween map. Seems successful, will do again

Holiday season activities

  • Holiday lighting contest
  • Need volunteers for judging
  • Contest winner gets $25 or $50 dollars.
  • Holiday Wootenanny on Dec 8th or the week following.
  • AISD trustee, Kevin Foster, wants to come to next meeting (Wootenanny)

New Business

John presents on Healthy Streets. They’ve had a lot of block parties City asked them to apply for permanent living streets, and asked them to look at a larger area. John wasn’t interested, but another resident volunteered. John, Ryan to reach out to Livings Streets and ask them to come to January Meeting. John wanted to alert more people who live in the area so they are aware of what is going. Sandra agreed to share on neighborhood channels.
