Parks Report

  • Report on It’s My Park Day, Wooten received a $250 mini grant, mulched the trees, weeded the corner garden, moved some stones from corner garden to burel and wooten. Council Member Vela  attended for about an hour.
  • Next one is in March

City of Austin

  • Wildlife coordinator, Emery, about Coyotes
    • Offered to present at a meeting
    • Call 311 if you have issues with Coyotes
    • Fairfield/Contour traffic calming
      • Met with Traffic Engineer
      • She proposed a traffic calming, a diagram was presnted.
      • No action was taken, but in general it seemed like the room thought a more effective solution was preferred
  • North Lamar Transit Center Open House (NCLT)
    • T.A. Brown Elementary School
    • Wednesday the 13th 6-8

Polaris Tract

Staff report expected right before Thanksgiving for a DB90 rezoning request.

The amount of traffic generated and the lack of a safe left turn onto Burnet was a big concern.

City Staff had not told them how much commercial would be required.

  • Ryan presented an overview of the current status of the proposed restrictive covenant.
  • The contact team voted on it unanimously

New Business

  • Noted that one of the contact members would be happy to be replaced if there was fresh interest.
