We started receiving donations for newsletter, El Dorado gave $450. We are in the process of setting up a Zeffy account to save money on transaction fees and to help manage our membership.
Parks Committee
Currently scheduling a meeting to begin discussion about how to process the funds we will receive from Anderson Square.

Anderson Square and 2100 Polaris both received their rezoning from City Council
Meet to discuss priorities for Toyota Dealer. Decided to try to schedule a meeting with the city to see what they think is suitable for changes in the site plan. We are inviting the dealers rep to the July Meeting
Wooten Elementary Update
Opening on January 2026. They’ve posted renderings on Facebook of new school. They have
Prek3 and Prek4 Dual Language programs.
Bylaws Update
The bylaws haven’t been updated since 2010. Proposed changes can be found here and were discussed at previous meeting: ByLaws Update – WootenNews. Steve motions to approve new bylaws, Paul seconds. Unanimouns approval.
Website/Sponsorship Program
There have been requests for streaming, more website content and we are making more complex agreements and may need attorneys so we see the need for more money moving forward. Business can sponsor NA and be featured in newsletter.
- We also got Donation for website management from marketing/website person.
- Getting a new logo as a donation
- Subaru will donate in the fall inline with their budget cycle
- First newsletter was in March, digital. 2nd will come out towards the end of June.
New Business
- Question about having the police rep come more often. Not as much staff for community policing so it’s harder to get officers to show up to the meeting.
- Question about fundng for park: Membership dues go to general fund, park fund is separate fundraising projects.
- No official 4th of July programming this year, but there may be spontaneous events.
