Contact Team Asks for Anderson Square Rezoning

After several weeks of discussion, the Wooten Neighborhood Contact Team has put together a set of requests to the owner for the rezoning of the Anderson Square tract at the neighborhood’s southeast corner. The asks will ensure that the redevelopment becomes a great addition to the neighborhood by adding local retail, a park, and green space, improvements to Wooten Park and the Red Line Parkway, and search for a grocery store partner while mitigating increased traffic by creating a walkable and bikeable space that strives to reduce the heat island effect. Please see the asks in this PDF.
