It’s My Park Day wrapup

Another successful It’s My Park Day! Thanks to those who helped clean and spiff up the park, and to all who take a minute to pick up trash or remove a weed whenever they visit the park.

Besides, Wootenites, volunteers included the St. Matthews Episcopal Youth Group, and Garrett Tippett who mentors UT College of Natural sciences students. His group is the Texas interdisciplinary scholars (TIP scholars), an undergraduate group that provides guidance and a smaller community for freshman while adapting to the rigors of a large university like UT. They came and prepped tables to paint.
