Join the Neighborhood Garage Sale

Around the neighborhood
Start gathering those old treasures you don’t use any more. May 3 will be Neighborhood Garage Sale day in Wooten to benefit Wooten Park improvements.
WNA Park Committee chairs Laura Tomlinson and Joanne Clem Garrett are organizing the Saturday event, 8am–noon. Please join in, by hosting, joining or visiting a sale.
Sales will raise funds for ongoing Wooten Park improvements including landscaping, purchasing and installing a “people and pets” water fountain, and adding more trash cans to keep the area clean.
We are applying for a grant to help pay for these improvements, but we are required to contribute funds as well. Our neighborhood goal is $3000.
Please host or join a sale on Saturday, May 3!
Here’s how to participate:
• Notify Laura and Joanne at park@wootenna.com if you can host or want to join a sale on May 3.
• If hosting, include your address so your street can be highlighted on the map that will accompany the posting on the various social media sites.
• Invite your neighbors to join you!
• Watch this site and our online groups for updates and the map of garage sale locations.
• Donate any amount (up to 100%!) of the proceeds of your sale to the Wooten It’s My Park fund.
If you aren’t holding or joining a sale yourself, please drop by someone else’s sale and support the neighborhood. Or donate via the park donation button on the wootenna.com home page. Thanks for supporting your neighborhood park!
